HISTORY

        Of humble beginnings, Apelo Cruz Elementary School started as an annex of T. Paez Elementary School housed at the old Majestic theater, the present site of Philtranco station along EDSA, Pasay City. It became an independent school in 1958  with Mrs. Felicidad C. Tenorio as its first principal. Transferred to its present location 27 years ago, it continued to grow and cater to a clientele of diverse and mix socio-economic, political, psychological, physical and cultural background. It sailed smoothly through the years under the stewardship of principals who held the helm of the different periods of history.

             Apelo Cruz Elementary School is a complete public elementary school located in E. Rodriguez Street, Malibay, Pasay City.  It is one of five public elementary schools in the East district of the Division of City Schools, Pasay.

             The school uses the 2002 Elementary Basic Education Curriculum that was introduced through DepEd Order No. 25, s. 2002.  It was implemented on its pilot year 2002-2003 for Grades I to V and the following school year for Grade VI.
